So in no time we have new album, no more info available besides it will have 3 editions: normal edition (12 songs) 2 CD edition (11 songs + 2026.03.26 HEAVEN’S ROCK live), and CORE edition.

Finally some exciting news…! Its not fun to be a jrock/vk fan right now, its so empty… so something like this is so exciting! Merry is always good!
And the “Circus tent” at the back of the announcement took me back to Nonsense Market time… but I guess we are just daydreaming 
I don’t like Merry all that much, but I do really like this shoot.
Have you checked their earlier stuff? They have really many catchy songs

Gave them a try around the Freak Show and Underwold eras. Found a handful songs I liked but struggled to stomach the rest. Gave Strip a chance with no luck as well.
Try Moder Garde, Kosei Ha Blend Classic ～OLDIES TRACKS～, Nonsense Market or their best of MERRY VERY BEST for a better experience… Dont think their last 3-4 albums are the best way to get into them… But if you have issues with Gara’s voice…then, just skip them.

Beautiful Freaks was a bit too polished for me. Under-world is one of my favourite too, though.
Is it that kind of album that references their whole discography? Let’s wait and see…
true. it’s called " beautiful freaks " but I think they went full " DeG leaving visual kei and wanting to please another category of fans " with this one. aka not freaky enough lol

When you say " too soft ", are you talking about the whole sound or the compositions ?
doesn’t one leads to ther other ? I’d say the overall sound. They seemed calmer( overall ) It felt like, not as unhinged as some of their previous works.
But it obviously got some gems like the classical Zetsubou, Crisis moment, fukinkou kinema and my personal favourites : Shoudoku and Identity
I think it was their debut on FREE WILL. I remember people saying they tried to give their sound a Dir en grey influence.
Yeah, I remember that. Some songs are still great, but they lack the rawness of their previous material. Many people complained their self-titled was too pop. Yet, It’s more appealing to my ears. Anyway, I’m really looking forward to listening to this new album. It might be misleading, but the title gives me the idea it’ll be similar to Under-world.
