I think it’s a relatively safe supposition (I forgot about the new vocalist because I’m only interested in the music and don’t care who’s in the band), but you know what record labels are like… a best-of is usually a cash-grab with very little outlay
If you don’t care who’s singing then you shouldn’t make suppositions about whether it’s a re-recorded version. Because this behaviour is worse than being a band hater for exemple.
When it comes to this band, they always deliver the best. From off vo. versions to massive investment in production and photography. If you don’t watch their videos you don’t realise that. Not to mention the countless fans who love the band and invest so much in them. So it’s not just a cash-grab as you say. The band is solid and doesn’t need this to make a profit, and neither does the label company MAVERICK DC GROUP~ DANGER CRUE. It has a cluster of established bands.
What are you talking about? I didn’t make any supposition, I asked because I wanted to know whether it was or not. Instead of a simple answer I got a lot of mockery and insults. This forum has become so toxic, I’m just going back to lurking.
I’ve been into VK for 15 years and I own almost all of Unite’s albums. I really like their music, but I’m not interested in the personalities of performers. All I care about is the music. I don’t usually buy best-of albums because in a lot of cases I already own all or most of the songs. That’s why I wanted to know. If it’s re-recorded, I’ll buy it. I still don’t have any definitive proof that it is, and I obviously won’t find it here.
woow now u care about whos/about the band… Just read what u said
and then think about. bye!
Not trying to be that girl, but why would they release anything featuring their previous vocalist who they fired?
@johndis @delkmiroph A reminder to keep your discussions civil and to not devolve into arguments, please, regardless of who may be right or wrong. You can refute each other’s points politely.
While I admit there is no confirmation that the best album contains re recordings, announcing it right after the frontman change and the way the previous one left the band made it very easy to presume. I in fact still believe this is the case since they probably are motivated to cut ties with the previous vocalist in all ways possible. I would not be surprised if they do a couple or more best albums to achieve this due to a large body of work.
It’s right here y’all. Why peeps are fightin’ over this, idk.
Today, I finished recording the vocals for all the songs. I worked on it for almost a month! We still have a lot of work to do, but I'm happy and happy to be able to move forward.
In fact, my joke about it being “all Mio” is a partial truth. If you check out the limited editions, there’s focused “Bakuage” versions of each track that amplify the volume of a given member.
BONUS NOZOMI
So this album is limited…hmmm?
No, it’s not limited. I was just sharing the link to the limited versions which contain the Bakuage tracks.
Regular Ver. :
Additionally, there’s a “subscription release”, which means it’ll be on streaming services on 3/27. They won’t take down digital releases, lol.
The new release is available to streaming services also to buy on OTOTOY (only in Japan)
Totally missed that 3-6 are instrumental tracks, they sound absolutely amazing! Interesting thing to do but they killed it for sure, do you guys think it’ll be a normal thing they’ll start doing?
EDIT: I didn’t notice @delkmiroph already posted it, sorry guys.
Parasital!!!
It’s not! These songs exist for a while. Unicorn is from the 9th? 10th? Annivsary I guess. Then after Yui left and when they started a tour without a vocalist (having a guest vocal each show) they started an “instrumental section” just with the original members, and these songs were made for these moments in that tour!
Each one of them are composed by a different member, except Nozomi.
AUHEUHEAUEHAUEA dont forget i am in another time zone amg <3
so…? where is the album
Assuming it’s on the 27th now, whatever the subscription release means?
they will release digitally one week later at 04/03 ~like usual~
No, it was already released on 20th as CD, so the streaming version will be avaliable on 27.
