I feel like a bit of a jerk for saying this but honestly, Souma’s vocals have never felt like a good match for Ashmaze. Their early releases were heavier and I really liked them, but his voice is so weak and soft in contrast that it felt like such a mismatch and is honestly the reason I kinda got bored of them. Instrumentally they’re strong, but it felt like music was overwhelming the thin vocals and that puts you in a bad spot creatively.
I think Souma would do better in a band with a softer, lighter sound, maybe something more kirakira.

Agreed, he sounds better on some slower songs, but they would def benefit from a vocalist with a stronger voice. Loved Tatsumi as the guest vocal today, his voice fit so well with Ashmaze songs.
Wishing the best for Souma and hoping that Ashmaze will be able to pick up a good vocalist 
This news made me realize Souma is actually the reason why i like IGGY and Ashmaze.
