Right, so if mama or new gulu gulu end up in this festival I may end up buying a ticket after all :smiling_face_with_tear:But if not, I’m even more excited for the livestream with these additions now.

There a live stream? where may I purchase a ticket to record Mama this whole event is so confusing

The concert at Shibuya Rex will be livestreamed for free on YouTube, so no ticket to purchase.

And one of the 8 bands at that live will be invited to perform at the festival in Paris in July.

I wouldn’t say that for sure, gulu gulu is pulling higher streaming numbers than Dir en Grey, but Musyozoku barely 10k despite finally releasing Child’s Play.

Most western gulu gulu fans don’t even know that the story didn’t end with disbanding and I’m pretty sure Lime will give a little push to sugar.

I, as an individual and niche internet figure can pull votes by himself, and fans are already spreading the news and linking it with gulugulu.

Surely there’s no a 100% secured victory but I can envision an relatively easy win.

I think it depends on how the japanese Fans vote and if the voting Page let’s us vote this time

wow

Mama. vs musyozoku who came up with that?

Just bring them both? Throw out one of the eurpean bands no one cares about???

no way to decide between both bands :sob:

I wonder if B7Klan knew which bands hĂ©vn would bring and selected these very small bands because they it was clear they wouldn’t stand a chance against mama, musyozoku and sugar

They just selected the bands who applied

But you don’t know how many and who applied. So from those that applied hĂ©vn took the 3 best and B7Klan took small but reliable ones who would deserve exposure but wouldn’t make it to europe. It’s not like they got only those 11 applicants i think.

The HĂšvn bands most likely did not apply. HĂšvn choose them in a separate process.

Imagine if more popular indies bands applied, but he’vn rejected their applications because too many n00bs spammed the application form with their info

B7 rejecting bands wouldn’t make any sense tbh (Except that one who had nazi salute like furi I think, that makes sense lol)
The more band in the voting poll, the more likely to reach a wider range of people, the more attention they’d get on their festival. As we discussed before in that thread, there were no way that big bands would risk losing to smaller ones, so none of them must have applied, and for those who wanted to apply, they’d also have to have both April 24th and July 10-13th free, which also may complicate things. (As for HĂ©vn’s band, we knew from the start it was happening, so I’m guessing they were selected waaaay before other bands entered the audition process)
And there’s also those not simply interested, or maybe not even aware it was happening (but doubtful, HĂ©vn being a sponsor and all.)

But yeah you’re right, in the end we’ll never know exactly who applied, it’s just an educated guess I’m making.

I listened to “musyozoku” and I felt like i was listening to Kizu but with a different vocalist. The tone, the atmosphere, the overall sound.

Shuttle bus tickets are finally available to purchase on B7’s new website dedicated to the festival.

Ticket is 12€ (for each day) and they’ll leave at 23:30, going from the Arena to Porte de Bagnolet (Metro line 3).
