It seems to be 50 % of this venue.
The venue has a 7 000 capacity, so yeah, if the sales are equally distributed itās roughly 50%, but maybe one day has more sale than the other.
But considering how much complaining there was surrounding the event, Iād say itās a very decent turnout, probably enough to not look like a total flop in pictures even if they go with the full configuration of the venue with the stage all the way back.
Ugh I canāt wait!
I think a few were probably holding out just to make sure it went on. And despite complaints, I think most fans in Europe will probably inevitably go just to support the bands even if they dislike the organizers.
Pokemon Go Fest is the same weekend, this is gonna be great. Combining my three great loves. VK, Pokemon, and not being in the United States.
IS IT??? I hope thereās stops and arenas around the venue lmao
Youāre living in the US? I thought you were French for some reason!
Hi while I canāt directly answer your question have you found your answer yet? (Maybe in the other thread there is some useful tips too!)
Ah, how I wish! Just a fan of the country. Full time in the states and Iām very grateful to this festival for giving me the opportunity to leave them for a week. ![]()
But didnāt they state, they did not make full capacity available so we can switch between sitting and standing? Normally youād sell the pit and the seats seperatly. So I donāt even think it will be the original 7000 capacity.
They also said over 50% of tickets were sold shortly after they got on sale. So itās most likely over 50% sold now.
I think itās hard to draw any definitive information about how full the venue is going to be because they didnāt state what proportion of the tickets are 1-day passes versus 2-day passes. But 6500 is a lot!
But thereās two days and we donāt know how many people actually attend both days, so itās probably lower
Even if itās 40 % day 1 and 60 % day 2, itās half as a whole ( if capacity is 7000 )
I would suggest teaming up with more people if you plan on walking that way. As far as I know, itās not super dangerous or anything but still the sort of place that I wouldnāt want to be on my own at night as a tourist, just in case. Or if you can Uber back home, even better.
That was not my point. But there was three kinds of tickets: day 1, day 2, day 1+2.
so 6500 tickets could mean:
- 6500 people on BOTH day 1 and day 2
- 3000 people on day 1, 3500 on day 2
- a mix: 3000 bought 2 day tickets (but only counted as one sold ticket), 1500 on day 1, 2000 on day 2
I think the only thing that can savely be assumed is that the absolute majority of people will attend on both days.
If youāre not living in or relatively close to Paris it just does not make sense to only buy the ticket for one of the days, even if you are not that interested in the bands on the other day. You have to pay for traveling and accomodation anyways, so it makes sense to get the whole package. And also to experience this very special event to the fullest.
Iām really excited to meet many of you, although I suppose it will be difficult.
Yes letās have a meet up sometimes!
Does the festival actually have the option to get a digital ticket?
A meetup would be so much fun. Iām traveling alone cuz nobody in my circle is into neither vkei nor Franceā![]()
Yesss letās do it!
