I’m thinking it might be some sort of exercise thingie (or after-exercise hammock/chair), based on the other images on the limited edition’s cover:

…but Forbidden Ab Lounge™ sounds better.

The symmetry is the weirdest part of it. I’ve looked through so many fitness equipment catalogues and have yet to find a match.

If I ever get to meet them I know what I’ll ask.

Crazy how they’ve been back longer than they were ever gone. That’s commitment!

ugh no. I came here to ask if anyone remembered the song and video lab/lab. the basement did with onan spelmermaid or if I was crazy and remembering incorrectly, only to find out she passed! wtf! horrible, what an icon.

still hoping to find it eventually, it may not have been onan but someone else. great song and the video felt like a depiction of a love affair. going to trust it hasn’t just one of my fever dreams. anyway I depressed myself now by trying to find it. :frowning:

i just want 17 to show signs of life

Here you go (it’s pretty much what you described I think??) :beetle:

I bet the standard version of 17 has the boys on it - then the deluxe will be car-themed. This is based on nothing

I’m still waiting for Ao to put his beloved Dr. Pepper on a cover someday… :cup_with_straw:

I just randomly remembered this cover, they nailed it pretty much. Made it very gariesque.

What’s a coveri≠goveri song you guys like? I’m also very fond of the BUCK-TICK cover MISTY ZONE (but that’s one of my favorite B-T tracks to begin with anyway).

The Dead End tribute album is so good all around. I love their rendition of Misty Zone as well, plus the amazing live performance with Imai.

Their contribution to the Mucc tribute is really nice too, and I like how it brought things full circle after Mucc’s cover of Sentimental.

What other covers have they done? There’s Engaging Universe of course.

There’s also Dog Days (Yasuyuki Okamura) on the 2013 version of the “Haru no hi” single, Sex On The Beach (Spankers) on “Blue Film -Revival-” and uhhhh… there was some very noisy short rendition of some old song on one of their earlier releases as a hidden bonus track iirc.

edit: Found it, the secret track ○○○○○○ in the pre-gap of track 1 on “Dai 5 jikkenshitsu yokokuban” contains a cover of “Sasoriza no onna” (Kenichi Mikawa).

What the fuck, has anyone ever noticed that the credits for this tape are an instrumental version of Akumu, which never actually got recorded until 0? This feels like a huge oversight on my part, this is completely new to me.

That’s wild, I never put those two together… :astonished: Great find!
