I bought from them regularly for a long time, years and years, then maybe a little over a year ago I tried to place an order and they told they no longer do overseas orders and that if I wanted to buy from them I’d need to go through a proxy service

Yo thanks for this reminder. I used to check closetchild periodically before this news broke and they never updated with new stuff so i assumed there wouldn’t be anything good on there.

Was pleasantly surprised to score 13 cds/dvds for less than 5000yen including shipping!

According to their official website, Closet Child CD webshop will be closing on 2025-09-26 and all accounts that were made will all be deleted. This is probably the final nail in the coffin. I made my last purchase 1-2 months ago. RIP closet child you were amazing :sob:

Got my first orders from them around 2007…still have many invoce emails from that Satoshi Kagaya that would prepare the orders after sending them an email with the items you wanted… better not to check the total amount spent :joy:
