The track starts off really well, but the fact that it turns into a full-on screaming song makes it hard for me to get into. Speaking of Damned, I prefer that one because the choruses tend to be melodic or “normal” (I don’t know how else to describe it)—like a moment of clarity amidst the storm. Here, though, it’s all death and destruction. I really liked the music video, too; it has some AI elements, but it doesn’t look cheap. I tried to like it, but it just didn’t click… I guess it’s not my genre.
