DEZERT major debut + new album "The Heart Tree" release

The album artwork and title gives me The Used vibes

They’ve announced that they’re playing at Nippon Budokan on 2024.12.27

Tbh its not bad, but it feels safe and generic. Sorry to be a party pooper. Verses are fine but the chorus needs to be more catchy.
This has to be one of the most generic bands today that are becoming “big”.

I consider it to be a token song just to keep old fans somewhat appeased

hmmm

I must say, I changed my mind about Heartless, that hook is stuck in my head the whole week. I’m enjoying the album too. It isn’t mind-blowing, but is very very far from being bad. It’s fine, an very decent 7/10

i’m hoping DEZERT break huge with this budokan live just so Moran can come back and slay like they used to. Like i’m so tuned out of DEZERT i’m waiting for Miyako to become vivi again and for Moran to pull a deadman. Stages of grief and i’m still in denial yep.

Yeah, odd choice for a PV. Rakuen is by far the most boring song on the album.

Man, with all the complaining about this band I certainly didn’t expect anything from this album, but it’s actually kinda good… Like, it’s not gonna be on any AOTY list, but it’s fine, I like it.

I finally gave this a first listen, and I liked what I heard. Surprised there was one scream-y song. Will be listening again.

Holding back the screams in the first major album is an very understandable decision to be honest, not that I agree it was needed
