Idk actually, I only know the rumor (?) that G.D.S. was originally called “audience KILLER LOOP”. Not sure if that’s correct though. ---

I’ve literally forgotten the opening riff of a song I wrote 2 seconds before being about to play it on stage in front of an audience lmao. Half of the songs my band has kept the working titles after lyrics were written cuz it was easier for us to remember After doing something for so long, and probably having a million different ideas constantly floating around, I would believe forgetting the reason or meaning behind a title to a song ---

It doesn’t mean “God. Death. Speed.”, that’s just an example of how the title was formed. Basically, they came up with various words and picked three of those. Those three are what “G.D.S.” is short for. But they forgor 💀 Oh yeah and fun fact: As there’s no other studio audio of the song except for the one that goes into Shokubeni, it’s actually unknown how it’s supposed to end. ---

Wasn’t it the opposite? That before VULGAR was released, fans thought _audience KILLER LOOP_ was going to be the SE that became _G.D.S._? Because, you know, that SE is a ‘killer loop’ that gets played in front of an ‘audience’? I honestly have no idea. ---

…what does them playing something during a show have to do with how the studio audio ends? The studio audio goes into Shokubeni and when it’s used during shows, it goes into whatever the members are playing on that particular day. The ending of the studio audio file, so to speak, is not available anywhere and thus unknown. ---

Is it possible that there is no “ending” of it? That it was always produced with the intent of being used how it’s been used, and that when making G.D.S. in the first place they already had the file of the live Shokubeni performance and just made G.D.S. to fade into that? In which case the ending isn’t missing, it’s just purposefully done the way it is so that it can fade into whatever the set’s first actual song is. ---

But they don’t use the single audio file during live shows, they use one without Shokubeni. And of that studio audio file, the end is unknown because it wasn’t released anywhere. ---
