I’m not really liking the announcement… As an artist myself I absolutely hate what AI has done in the art/creative community, so the thought of my favourite band utilising AI in their works is pretty shocking to me…
But I suppose I’ll be patient as well and see what this all means.
Speaking of, I’ve heard that they’re utilized AI in their previous works. Can anyone tell me which ones?

For Dir en grey specifically, the videos for The Devil In Me and Otogi are definitely AI. The latter was shown on tour but may appear on an Average Asshole future release. It might also be on the ~mode of Withering to death. / UROBOROS~ Blu-ray released last year. Other backing visuals used on tour might also be AI, but I can’t be certain.
Much of Petit Brabancon’s artwork is apparently AI.
Sukekiyo’s Dominus EP and especially the video for breeder both feature extensive AI. They even replaced Kyo with a completely AI character of a bearded person in drag (it looks awful).

Can anyone tell me what extras come with the tour 16-17 mode of blu rays? Are there any booklets included or is it just the disc in a case? I‘m asking because of the possibility to buy a „complete“ set but I would like to know if it is truly complete.
As an example afaik this would be a complete version of the vulgar DVD. I don’t have the blu rays so I can’t speak for that.

I watched the recent Psychonnect Live, and despite it having some cool gems/intense energy, it doesn’t hold up to the MODE OF Version they did a few years back.
The production/mixing sounds more raw and packs more of a punch. I hate overly polished sounding live shows. And next to the 2nd (or first) night of the ARCHE Budokan one, THIS is the BEST live version of RINKAKU.
