DIR EN GREY

They did drop the Ranunculus mv like two weeks before the release of The Insulated World, but this time dunno

they’re very consistent with debuting between 2 and 4 new songs through a-knot only pre-album events, nobody expects them to give out any CD media during those though…

their planning isn’t as good as it used to be in the past, I’m not even sure if the album PV is ready to air already, given how long they’ve been waiting for the world of mercy to drop.

it would be a kii and than some if schadenfreude is the PV track this time.

Tbf I saw TWOM PV in 2019 at a live and it was uncensored, so I think they had it for a while and were blocked from releasing normally.

?

it’s on youtube… both official and bootlegs don’t have the final part of the video (there’s just a static placeholder with some blood stains over video footage and white BG in the final ~3 minutes)

I don’t know which tour dates got the uncensored video premiere though.

they cited not having complete video from the director as a reason for delay in one of Kaoru’s interviews anyway, so I’ll go with that one as an explanation.

bootleg link with clear view of PV at the end.

IIRC, Kaoru’s interview about TWOMs MV was somewhere in 2021, no?

Also, when I watched the additional The World You Live In screening online on 31st of December, they only showed 2/3 of the TWOM clip.

So, now I’m curious if those who went to these offline screenings saw the same clip that we got with AP3, or they got something different :no_mouth:

Now that explains why it cut out 2/3 of the way through! I thought that they wanted to save the rest as a teaser for us to buy the DVD collection later, but not having it is an even simpler explanation.

I don’t really remember, sorry :frowning: I’m always very behind on reading stuff like that I think it was late 2020, a winter tour between ochita and oboro? or whatever they had going on, I don’t really remember at this point.

I wanted to doublecheck on tumblr, but I don’t have a working account there anymore, and tumblr cuts off interview entries for me now.

Found it. You were right, it was late 2020…damn time flies fast

submitted my preorder at cdjapan and i am hyped af tbh. haven’t felt this way about a release in years.

What shipping method did you go with out of curiosity?

Always dhl if u live in the states its super fast

I used to do EMS until rates changed and DHL was literally cheaper and after something I ordered was stuck in customs in Chicago for two weeks.

i chose dhl, fedex is a bit faster for canada but dhl is fast enough

Fedex has the worst service I’ve ever seen in the states, even worse than USPS.

i’m surprised by that, they’ve always been amazing for me from what i can recall. dhl is probably your best bet then

I’d never used DHL until I ordered something from Amazon Japan and they used it and I’ve been using it ever since.

DECEASED

That magazine picture. Shinya, Toshiya and Die look clean AF. Kaoru looks a bit weird but still fine.

…then we have Kyo ruining everything

IMO they all look great aside from Kaoru whose aesthetic is like a bizarre goblin with a moustache.
