As always, it’s so interesting to see how we all enjoy (or in some cases don’t enjoy!) their discography. I love how diverse they have been as a band and it’s because of this that they’ll always be one of my favourite artists. While they’re not as experimental or influential to the industry as they used to be, it’s great to consider the impact and longevity of the band’s (!!DIMLIM FAN TRIGGER WARNING!!) ‘essence’ across a genre-hopping career.
There’s been so much interest, discussion, and love surrounding Dir En Grey in the lead up/aftermath of the release and it’s been great to read about everyone’s excitement, regardless of how good or bad they have found the last few singles/albums.
Visual Kei might be a far cry from how it was 10-20 years ago but it’s nice to be part of the fanbase, even if I’m hurtling towards the crustier side of it

I look forward to the addition of PHALARIS. It is also, indeed, a Dir en grey album.

If only there was some kind of… website you could find all your questions answered… something like a wiki, perhaps… a wiki about… DEG… hmm…
oh wait! there is!
https://degwiki.com
your #1 source for all things DIR EN GREY

Then why don’t you have their baby pictures on there?

Honestly? Because I don’t like uploading images that much. It’s also why the La:Sadie’s discography is lacking images. And the timeline in general could use more images, probably. But it’s such a pain in the ass ._.
Fair enough, I was (mostly) joking.
Now I feel like they should have waited with AP3, so they could put Perfume of Sins on it.

Well through the time had change but right now probable this is my personal ranking of DIR EN GREY albums:
-UROBOROS [Remastered & Expanded]
-DUM SPIRO SPERO
-PHALARIS
-ARCHE
-The Insulated World
-Kisou
-MACABRE
-The Marrow Of a Bone
-VULGAR
-Withering to death.
-GAUZE
I decided to not put EPs but in case that someone ask The Unraveling is between PHALARIS and ARCHE. In the case of Six Ugly and MISSA both after Gauze.
