it is, but i must admit the only reason I bought their t shirt is because i thought it would be funny to walk around wearing a shirt that says DRUGS in giant neon green splatter letters. I can also see the appeal of buying their wristbands for the same reason. So for those reasons it’s kind of genius marketing

If they really want to shock people, they shouldn’t pick some mainstream name like DRUGS. They should take inspiration from old grindcore bands, whose names usually involve bodily fluids, gastrointestinal disorders, and similar delights.
After all, wearing a T-shirt with a huge DRUGS logo on it might actually raise a few questions, haha.

I think Drugs is the perfect name for this band tbh. It’s the right kind of tryhard, going in another direction would make it the wrong kind of tryhard.
