First Visual Kei festival in Paris will be held (10 bands, July 11-12)

Dont rule out that in they future some band may try to sell a wink from members for similar price.

What happens if I refuse to high five Lime and give him a head pat instead

Also why is that french band souffle 20 euro meet and greet??? I get it they, it’s some equality thing, but come on, keep it realistic here.

They literally begged to hang out with them after deviloof haha

Yeah I suspected something like that. Like cool that they get a chance, but meet and greet is not realistic for such a small band

Also just on the side, skin goes for around 10 dollar per inch and an eyeball for around 1.500 dollar on the black market, just in case anyone needs financing help.

This can’t compete with a signed photo for 90 euro. Photos like that are often included as a bonus with limited edition releases. Even 50 feels overpriced.

The rest of the prices are fine, but Kizu really disappointed me. Is it really that damn hard to be like every other normal band?..

Wildly disappointing about Versailles/Moi dix Mois. I’ve met KAMIJO a couple of times, but I was hoping to get to show Hizaki/Teru my tattoos for Versailles… I also just really wanted to meet Mana in person so bad.

D’espa though, I will probably spring for that. They’re the band that got me into all this.

This situation is so laughable.

And as I said on discord, the only explanation I can find for these ridiculous prices is that this ā€œprivilegesā€ are the actual income of the bands, because they won’t receive a penny from the ticket sales.

I’m also very disappointed with Versailles and M10M; they were the ones I was most excited to take a picture with and meet in person (well, I already met Kamijo in Barcelona). So I’ll just do MUCC and Kizu.

I guess the real question is, did B7Klan set these prices, or did the artists?

Kizu took a page from Dirus book on minimal interaction with fans lol

They look too unified to be from artists…wonder if they will go 50-50 or how.

This makes it looks like the prices was all on them, not the bands…Is nice they ā€œlistenā€ to the ppl, but makes it looks everything is kind of improvised…they say something, ppl complain and change it..

Right? I think it’s good they listen to what people say, but if there’s many legit complaints about anything they announce and they have to keep explaining why they did this and that, I don’t think it makes them look very professional. Like, they’re not doing a vk event for the first time.

Edit: They even deleted the post with the prices haha

It’s true, it now seems that several aspects of the planning are defending on how the fandom will react. This part involves money.. is more clear their strategies for this event to raise funds to cover costs. But if this is the case in the preliminary stages, I hope it doesn’t apply to things like logistics, fan security, or basic services like water or restrooms.

I really hope they don’t announce a ā€œvolunteerā€ seeking program to cover this festival

lmaooo :sob:

This whole festival has been funny so far. It’s so easy to complain to them enough for them to change it lmao.

Lord, give me the confidence of a local European band selling meet&greet tickets at 9 am for €20 each

At this point, anything they do is going to get scrutinized.

I think the prices are a liitle too low, but I despise the concept of treating others like zoo animals altogether, so who am I to set the price of parasocial catharsis?

Probably should have ran a lot of this by a focus group of VKtwt fans to get a prediction on the fanbase’s reaction

Constantly having to backtrack isn’t a great look.

A great idea would be to sell a general Meet and Greet pass for the morning, allowing people to take photos/ hi-touches with multiple bands for an all-inclusive price.
