Fukuro Euro Tour 2025 Live Report

Technically the gig WAS sold out, but weirdly the main floor was half empty because more people wanted to stand on the upper areas. Which is really odd to me as ive been to so many gigs there and have never seen that before, especially at sold out shows.

Also having been to a few shows in Japan to see bands around this level, most of the shows are in venues way smaller than the Underworld so would say theyre very used to it. Haha. I guess all the dvd live shows bands put out of their bigger shows are deceptive.

Oh, I’m definitely the wrong person to ask about poses
I never had any kind of photo with public figures in my whole life and to be honest, I also never really wanted some. I also don’t care about autographs and things like that.

I do see 2 shots as a wonderful way to keep memories alive. But I would not pay for VIP tickets or something like that, because I don’t think that I would enjoy it
I would probably just feeling super awkward when communicating with them. And I’d be unhappy with the way I look on the picture, because - and, yeah, I know, a lot of people say that about themselves, but in my case, even friends agree - I’m quite unphotogenic.

The drawings you gave to the members are so cool! I like how they’re each a group shot, but with that member as the center focus. Your 2shot with Yoshiatsu is also very cute, congrats!

Caring about the shorties (me) in the crowd has to be a first :face_holding_back_tears: Hope to hear some reports from tonight’s show

Thank you!! I didn’t have much time to prepare (I also realised that I forgot to put the date and the band’s name on it x_x) but I’m glad I got to give it to them, and they recognised it from Instagram!

Honestly he seems so sincere and kind, it’s hard to believe otherwise. Maybe he saw how absolutely wild some people were behaving in some cities (ahem London), and just wants everyone to have a good experience.

Looking forward to more live reports too! And super super curious as to how the fan meeting went.

I’m only really active on instagram but upon searching, I feel like there’s more stuff on twitter (like fan’s 2shots and photos/videos), is there some kind of community/discord with more fan interactions? (idk if i phrased that right)
And where can I search for more vk fan meeting reports/photos?

Looks like the tour went well for them, hope they can continue going overseas since Yoshiatsu now has 2 projects to juggle. Yoshiatsu does seem sincere in his posts and the band as a whole seemed to have fun.

Did see some posts of fans acting out over front row and line spots or crowd pushing at a jazz esque show just to be closer to Yoshiatsu :skull:.

Thats pretty nice to post tbh. Im pretty tall but when people hold up their phone right in front of my face that is proper annoying. Like yep, i paid to come and watch the band through your phone screen, thanks.

Same, I’m not super short but it’s still annoying. During the second half of the show in London, the people behind me had their phones over and past my shoulders beside my head, and then eventually they had their arms up and kinda resting on the back of my head lol…

I really hope Europe could adopt some of japan’s concert culture (honestly you’d think it’s common sense to not disturb bothers). I hate the screaming/talking during quiet parts of songs or when the members are trying to talk.

(sorry, I’ve had so many negative experiences just cos of other people…)

I didn’t get the feeling that people were very disrespectful in Warsaw, but to be fair, I wasn’t in the front rows. I’m like average height and got sandwiched between tall people, but saw most of the stage just fine.

It’s fine if people want to take photos or record something for the memories, but if someone’s getting into other people’s space with their phone and ruins their experience that’s just rude.

Anyway the live itself was amazing and I’m definitely going again when they’ll come back to Europe.

100% agree with this. Ive never understood people going mental during slow songs, like, youre meant to be a fan of the band, dont you feel the vibe of the music/song and feel maybe its inappropriate to scream constantly through a ballad? Haha. I also font understand how people absolutely lose their shit for VK bands, i go to gigs to all genres and its only at VK gigs i see people acting like complete idiots who left their brain at home, going absolutely mental like rabid bio experiments gone wrong. And as you say, in Japan people are not like this, maybe only during interludes when tuning or whatever but people seem to get the vibe and just act like normal people. I dont get why thats so hard for westerners. Maybe because the crowd are often quite young and literally are just way more immature?

I did VIP for Dir en Grey some years ago and the behaviour of the majority of other fans has put me off ever doing one ever again for any band.

Maybe I’ve just been lucky, or maybe it’s a sign of the times but everyone at the few North American VK shows I’ve been to were just fine.

Even Jiluka’s opening set, I didn’t notice anyone acting too out of place at the Montreal date. Maybe gushing a bit about the members in the merch line afterwards, but nothing that would have seemed out of place in say, the 2000s alt scene.

Guess I’ll have to keep my eyes out for any rabid animals at Edmonton Animethon when I go see Sick2 in a couple weeks.
