HAZUKI new album “MAKE UP ØVERKILL” release

It’s cool. Tokyo psyche reminds me of Mix speakers inc or evolution by girugamesh.
In comparison to lynch. the whole album is the same what Tatsuro’s solo project is in comparison to MUCC.

After listening to only old VK/J Rock stuff from time to time for quite a long time, I just recently decided to spend more time again with that music genre. In search of new (or, at least, new to me) artists I also discovered Hazukis solo stuff and I like it a lot, especially the live versions you can find on youtube.

I want to grab Miyavi, show him Hazukis music and tell him: “See? Something like THAT could be the kind of music you should make!” (and I am only half kidding here :grimacing:)

Took me forever, but I finally spent some time with this album, and I am blown away. I think it’s a noticeable improvement over the last album.

Some of the songs are usual lynch.-fare (which I’m perfectly fine with), but there’s a lot of beautiful and diverse music on this album that shows HAZUKI is not a one-trick pony.

Particularly, the last two songs are gold. I’m sad I waited this long to try it out!

Yeah, this album is great. The singles that I found weak work so much better in the context of the album. I enjoyed so much the electronic elements in the songs, and that made me wish Hazuki does some industrial stuff in the future
