Like seriously couldn’t the main Visual at least have some connection with the actual track. You look like some confused amateur painter and you have this random ass wanna be sexy track and you have even random akward dancers in it. Just wear something actually matching to the track. And do more than just awkwardly starting at the camera in the same angle the whole time.
As well it makes me angry how there is never any kind of interaction between Izam and the dancers they not even ever share the same room it feels like it could as well just be stock videos.
This is worse than any Starwave production ever will be. They at least try to have things matching to the theme even when they lack in the budget heavily. They never would create such a mess.
yeah this is the most cringe thing I’ve seen today. edit: izam being stuck in portrait view the entire time makes me think of those ai videos where historical figures come to life and they move their head around a lot when they talk
a bit taken aback by the video budget, but i guess most of the ¥500man budget went into his face… thus the portrait video style lmao. I loved the little korean letters in 4k! very crisp!!
what do you think the chicks were really dancing to? my guess:
i’m not gonna lie, the song is lowkey catchy in an ironic guilty pleasure type of way ( i love trash ), but the video is SO fucking funny with the girls just awkwardly trying to vibe to this mess and then him just staring into the camera like a dead fish. wtf was he trying to do? i would just like to talk.
at least it made me laugh, so i gotta give some points for that. but i just know he’s probably being so serious and trying to make an actual sexy club banger moment happen but this just isn’t it. a MESS.
it’s an earworm… I know that pop/vk cross-overs on here are slept on and slammed if they go full on camp, but izam generally knows what he’s doing
I’m PERCHED for the rest of the songs to hear what’s going on there (since it’s limited to just one music sales app for now.)
I know for sure the kpop throwback in the PV song was done to push it to the mainstream jpop/kpop crowd to see how it goes with them, but the rest can be good camp, horrific levels of grotesque, or just boring average valuemeal, and I hope it’s the finest of the niche VK; if they aren’t chasing streaming numbers, there can be a neat experimental track or two or three as well.
my reference point for NO LESS of what I expect rn:
