I know that Spotify is not an accurate reflection of their concert attendance numbers, but boy, have they fallen low. While they were with Bloom, their page still gets almost 3.5k monthly listeners. Since they left and renamed, their new page barely gets 100 monthly listeners.
Rightfully so, in my opinion. The vocalist can’t sing at all, but his voice worked well with heavy music, it simply clicked. With experimental style it simply is out of place, it just doesn’t belong to their songs.
And I don’t know, but their current music style seems pompous and pretentious. I put them in the same category as Chaqla, and Chaqla seems interested in what they are trying to do. Mama is just showing off.
Finally gave this a listen, cool tune! I like the directions they’ve been going in for the most part.
