Usually VK bands have songs to play on live, but they don’t record them because of cost of recording

These pics are incredible. Kouki, Kazuki, Hayato and Mei’s are absolutely stunning. A VK event that actually attempts to reach a global audience is exciting, I hope this becomes a frequent thing.

The photos are being posted on the individuals’ own twitter accounts ~March.

I guess it kinda is a frequent thing. They started the festival last year as a one day festival, sold out fast, then had a Halloween version and this year it’s a two day event. Also sold out since April.
Their twitter posted all pictures kind of. When they had an exibition in shanghai. They posted pictures of the printed artist picture. They have a japanese and an english twitter MASKED_vkei and MASKED_vkei_en
Their insta acount post some but I think not all artist photos but the artists themselves posted their pictures. Insta is also MASKED_vkei
They also sell merch with all the artist pictures in a pop up store before the event. I got a shirt with Lime (Kizu) and acrylic block wirh Tatsumi (Xanvala) last year. Last years pictures were all posted, tho

And they came up with some slight addition of three other musicians than vocals.
According to what he said Azavana’s drummer S1TK reached out and asked what about the other positions, that it were a bit unfair (I think he’s halfway serious about it and maybe halfway not) that it’s just about vocals. That resulted in a fan voting out of which three more could participate with shootings, he’s one of them.

I never watched a stream for which you had to pay for, but this seems quite epensive to me? 
Is this an average price for something like this?
With fees the D’espairsRay live stream was close to 5000 Yen. 3500 yen ist quite normal. Especially because these ones are longer than one concert.

Wow, ok, so it seems that the MASKED pricing is comparatively ok, but I think it is expensive none the less. I went to two festivals this years which about the same than the streaming prices 
And being there in person in a very different (and obviously much more valuable) experience.
I still remember watching streams of big festivals on TV for free when I was a teenager/in my early 20s. The thought of paying for a concert stream is something that never occured to me.
Maybe this is just a development due to strained economy and stuff that passed me by because I haven’t dealt with that matter for years.
Definitely normal for an event like this, especially good for one that’s running so many bands.

Didn’t notice until yesterday there will be a stream, I can’t wait to watch DEATHGAZE (still praying for a reunion announcement since they keep doing events now and again ;0;)

Bought three stream tickets.
Two for day — one to see Deathgaze and one for Mamireta. Glanced through half of the bands as well — so far so good.
Anyways, glad to see Deathgaze. I liked their setlist. Ai was quite horrible vocally, but it is what it is.
One stream ticket was bought for tomorrow since I want to see Neuromask. I expect to hear some Born songs, as 3 members are ex-Born.

For Eight straight days, looks more likely that they’re doing a series of onemans. (Maaaybe Oneman + OA?)
I’m actually curious, because it seems like MASKED’s international marketing was two pronged. English language online stuff for the Western fanbase, and the art cafe in Shanghai for the Chinese fanbase. Both fanbases would have had access to that separate “foreigner ticket” pool.
I heard quite a few people speaking Mandarin in the area next to me for D’espairsRay.
I wonder which side paid off the most? And how would they truly track it? If a lot of foreigners just used their existing L-tike accounts, those are some that wouldn’t have been formally counted.
For the ltike link it can be paid in cash? I wonder if foreign cards are accepted and they can trace through that
When I was buying the niconico ticket they asked me to indicate which band I was seeing, which I was quite surprised for a livestream tix.

Yeah, they asked us at the door which band we wanted to select for the day.
I always just pay in cash via my proxy payer. The foreigner link could be useful for establishing relatively new concert attendees. Then again, someone admitted to me that they used the foreigner link for round 2 because she was testing whether it was easier or harder to get Day 1 tickets via that link.
