Me neither! It’s great to hear some inflexions from his era in v[Neu]. Yet, I really dig this new style. I’m not often convinced by artists who go solo just to make something similar to their (previous) band and Mitsu went a really different way.
Finally!
Ever since the end of ラッド and him joining ν［NEU］ I missed this. It’s not a full ラッド song and out of ν［NEU］'s songs it gets closest to 想 (which, to no one’s surprise, is my most favorite of theirs). And don’t get me wrong I love some of ν［NEU］'s songs with him but I’ve always been of the opinion that the very potential of his voice didn’t come out with ν［NEU］. I fell for his voice with ラッド and with the best of album recently I had a feeling that he’d finally get back a bit to that voice. I wasn’t even hoping for something like this for his solo stuff since he hadn’t been doing so throughout all these years. Finding this song now all the time throughout the past 15 years was worth the waiting.

I really like his voice, something about it reminds of Tetsu Takano. I just don’t know exactly what

This is so good, I love the “grain” in his voice. Good direction for him.
