With the mission “To those beyond salvation,” they extend a helping hand through their unique sound.
But is it truly a helping hand… or is it something else?
Vocalist Mio — said to have the most fearsome voice in the entire band scene — brings overwhelming musicality and presence.
Expectations are high for the explosive chemistry of the members, each coming from vastly different backgrounds.
The release of a limited edition album titled “失楽園” “Shitsu rakuen” has also been announced, and the band will officially kick off with a solo live show at Ikebukuro BlackHole on Monday, August 11th.
In addition, the music video for their debut song “MAYDAY” was released ahead of the launch.
We invite you to witness their worldview and powerful first steps with your own eyes and ears.
I have seen them live once but from the back of the room
They were quite good from my memory, but also very loud and screamy hahaha
Mio also called the fans “idiots” and told us to die and all that at some point, so certainly an edgy group.
Sadly I’m not in the area during their first show as Blaze, otherwise I would have gone to take a look!
Everything really boring as to be expected with the current scene EXCEPT the voice in the chorus. Can’t remember when I have been this positively suprised in vk. Can understand when some don’t like the sound of it but it sounds just so honest to me, like a vocalist actually trying to say something / transfer emotions, which most vocalists have lost in this scene in my opinion (at least on CD; live of course is a different story). I will keep an eye on them, maybe they will release an interesting song as a b-side one day.
After giving all of Nazare’s music and seeing them live, I don’t think Mio has the strongest singing voice. There’s a lot of strain when I hear him try to hit certain sounds. With his strongest sound being when he goes for a high notes IMO.
This is definitely different from Nazare, and the straining sounds intentional, which is weirdly interesting. I’ll certainly give a listen to their first EP or whatever comes out.
To say he has a bad voice is such a statement haha. Mio has a beautiful voice, and his screams are nuts, but he lacks some control to replicate all the crazy things he records live. I don’t blame him, the switching between inhaling and exhaling vocals is exhausting really fast lol.
If he’s the strongest voice or no is debatable and up to opinions, but i’m really glad that he came back with a new project so soon!
He used to have a decent voice in NAZARE, and now out of nowhere he sounds totally off-key and just plain bad. I don’t know what happened and either he botched it in this awful “loud kei” or something’s really off. I’ve got my suspicions about auto-tune and yeah, even live performances can be auto-tuned these days.
Or maybe all that screaming he’s doing is messing up his voice, ‘cause singing like that in the debut MV of his new band? Man, it’s disappointing. Honestly, it kinda feels like he already knew NAZARE was going to disband soon, 'cause here he is in a brand-new band less than six months later…
I think he’s trying something new and it’s not for everyone. It sounds intentional because he turns it off during the back half of the chorus. I am not a fan of it either.
I remember their live from 2020 or 2021, and he was off-key all the time, it was insanely painful to listen to. Plus, he was out of breath for the screaming parts, so overall it was bad. The same applies to two DVDs that can be found online — he is just bad.
