As soon as they compose enough songs to release a mini is my guess.
It’s an open secret in the Japanese community, mainly because ashmaze guitarist shiyu is a bully, he bullied souma alot and vocalist ryo in Virge is also a huge dick, calling his bandmate useless, so those bullies kick the “useless” ones out and form a band together.
what? omg
Dang! When I was in Japan Ryo always found me in the crowd to scream on some songs lol. But what does that mean about the other members of Ashmaze and if so, good for Souma because this new band looks really good!
mv has clips of literal circus performances and you go “where you do get circus from?”
yall good?
It still does not sound very circus like soundwise?I think it needs a bit more than some images to count as a certain kei. Like the whole band in circus inspired outfits or some circus typical melody. There is some black and white footage that looks like cicus performance but it is only the first few. Later in the video the black and white parts seem super random and apart from the bands we see a girl in a kimono in the ruins of a house. Not enough circus for me to call this circus kei.
Would have preferred a mini but ok.
I missed this post the first time around, but Hirotaka?! Happy early bday to me lol

Cackling @ Souma upgrading with more famous bandmates just to make mediocre music.
Of note, not sure of any of their respective strengths as songwriters, which actually makes this more interesting. I don’t know the main writer for lycaon since 95% their credits are as the whole band, but I think Ashmaze was primarily Ryou, Kiryu was mostly Mitsuki/Takemasa, and Rshitei was Mamo.
Honestly I feel we need to at least listen to their whole first release before judging them as mediocre. (Of course when they give us the chance trough streaming services or Bandcamp)
There are a few groups which show their strenght in their B-Sides
follow the clussy
3rd track sounds like kaede’s solo project which I’m all for it!
Those B-sides are pretty promising but still not enough for me to really have an idea for this group’s style as whole. Especially in how heavy they could become. The second track might have a harder verse section we just don’t have heard yet.
