I think they sound fine but like an average VK band, nowhere close to Kizu. And no way it’s Kizu unreleased song, absolutely not Lime’s melodic style)

Its just their first song and not even the full song. They will need time to find their sound and even if their first release won’t be too good they can still learn and get better. At the moment everything is possible.
Pretty sure someone must habe seen potential in them. And they have great sempais in Kizu. Just hope they do their own thing and don’t try to be Kizu 2.0

Half the reason Sugar (old) wasn’t popular is because the name sucked for searching back then. Sugar (old) had some bangers and is connected to other known bands like GOTCHAROCKA and amber gris, so it’s not like they’re complete unknowns. I think Sugar (new) is gonna find out real quickly why no one listened to Sugar (old).

For real. Sugar is one of my favorites from back in that time, but I honestly couldn’t tell you how I discovered them. Now sometimes I’ll still happen upon a song by them I’ve never heard because it’s so hard to search out their stuff.

I saw them at BugLug Summit yesterday. They seemed super nervous so I wanted to know if Nea had any previous bands and that’s how I found this thread. Visually, the costumes looked quite nice in person (not cheap-looking) and the drummer had great energy. Nea wasn’t very good live but there were tons of bandmen senpais and record label people watching from the 2nd floor, so he might’ve just been nervous.

I am a big fan of the yellow guy, and I will take any kyonosuke spin offs we can get. Musically, nothing attention grabbing yet.

Honestly this band is making yellow look nice. Pretty solid look. Overall I like the previews hopefully. I guess this gives nea the opportunity to show off more of his vocal talents.

Please stop comparing these guys to Kizu just because they are on the same label or whatever, they literally just sound like generic VK and not really at all like Kizu. Besides maybe the odd generic VK moment they pull. Haha.

It’s not like Kizu is easy to search, you search for it in yahoo auctions and you got like 2 million results because it means “scratch”

Does the music matter, if you get enough hype?? And if that hype just comes from another band under the same label
Namewise… It’s a horrendous decision, from the other band Sugar, to the fact that it’s absolutely not searchable 
The “long” run usually shows what will happen and if the band keeps together or not 
I dunno. I mean if anything does well enough it can get higher in the searches than pages about the actual thing. Look at steam for example. Search steam on google and top search is website about gaming not actual steam. Haha.
Don’t forget the possibility that they could change their name at some point if they last more than a year. Reborn as ~ Sugar -we’re Going D★wn! ↓ ~ or something
