Why does it sound SO much better than the EP?
I wonder that as well. I’ll compare sound credits when my CD gets home (after a healthy dose of FUCKING TARIFFS

Just by listening to the songs themselves you can see some details that just add up regarless of more technical things that go into the mixing. For example both Ruka songs MIST and N use chimes, but the ones in MIST sound very low fidelity and feel like they have no depth to me while the ones in N feel more rounded and pleasing to hear. They also not used just by themselves in the front but also used to armonize with whatever else is going on (easy to notice towards the end of the song as the organ synth comes in). I honestly think MIST is the better song but N is a much better product (for lack of a better word).
