My problem with this band is that I get gripped by the cool packaging and the artwork but then I listen to the music and I’m like…meh??

I’ll still give it a listen tho, maybe Nu Metal Kyo is what I need in my life???

I’m excited personally. I wasn’t super into their last release, but I think that as a group they’re still really young and figuring out what they want their sound to be. That’s exciting because you never know exactly what you’re going too get.
I’m a fan of every band that the different members are from. (Antz fucking rules) So it’s hard for me to listen to them and not find something I like.

I do find most PB songs are best enjoyed when I’m raging in my car.

If some folks aren’t into this group’s work, it could be that you’re just not into that sound. And that’s cool.

I think it would have been cooler if most of it wasn’t AI generated and wonky. I really hope bands don’t keep taking this route for artwork. I like the idea of it though

Has Yukihiro ever composed a real beast song?
This is controversial AF yes yes I know, but I am already calling it - this one will suck hard. I guess they couldn’t say no when the senpai said he wanted to compose to lead track.

I enjoy his contributions, with that atmospheric industrial-rock flavor he brings to the table. Fits pretty well into the band’s “90s alt-rock / nu metal”-adjacent concept imo.

Yukihiro and antz’s compositions have been furthest from the Miya sound in my opinion, so I’m always interested to hear what they’re cooking. Surely on Automata was a Yukihiro song and it had a bit of a Depeche Mode flavor, which was a cool curveball from dog band.

Dogband continues to have some of the coolest packaging I’ve ever seen. I was actually a big fan of both Fetish and Automata, so I’m excited to see where they go next
