Hottest take ever shared online by me ever If you’re even aware of jfashion and vk and the likes and post on websites made to mock content creators in these niches … you realize you’re the lowest of the lowest right? There’s people touching grass thriving completely unaware of loser subcultures. There’s people in loser subcultures embracing their cringe and trying to get something positive out of it and spread positivity like it’s okay to be a loser at least we have fun then theres your ass buried so deep in denial it’s legitimately concerning. You’re a whole barrel of tar calling the kettle black because the kettle dared to have fun sharin clothes online. You think youre better because? The grass saw you and flew away and that’s why you wound up like this. Go outside. Walk into a thrift store. Get something. Get a thread and a needle. Add some lace. Take an aesthetic y2k photo with your old cam. Share it. See people joyfully comment on your creativity and smile and have fun it’s not a crime I promise. In that time I’ve worked 16+ hour shifts regularly as well as taking up two jobs at one point to be able to afford a trip to FOUR European countries in Jan '25. Again entirely paid by ME. I planned the itinerary, hotel/airbnb, ETA application, concerts, plane/train tickets, budgeted for food entirely on my own and was the FIRST in the family to leave the CONTINENT. Still 19 btw. The only issue was that the FAFSA screwed me over and rejected my form as an independent student and my dad simply didn’t receive the invitation to do his part (still don’t know why), so I wasn’t eligible for loans or most scholarships. That means I had to either pay the $22k out of pocket, or wait another year for the FAFSA, and make the transition back into uni harder as well as making it harder to actually get accepted. Obviously I can’t pay 22k on my own so I asked for help from my parents which I’m not going to act is a bad thing we all need help some times (I know good and well my dad had to ask for help many times in the past). I paid my end and we had a system that worked and all parties agreed to. (Luckily we were able to do the FAFSA this time so I’m really looking forward to the aid) > > Now I’ve finished my first semester and PASSED everything (Bs and Cs). It’s not like my upbringing has been sunshine and rainbows I lived in a homeless shelter for a while after my parents divorced, my mom was extremely poor and didn’t work and I lived with her until I was 12, I became accustomed to having mice jump on me while I slept. I had a shower thought again about the single most important musical role in a visual kei band. I think I’ve settled on drummer for now. I notice so many bands these days use a support drummer. Drums may not be the most flashy but they’re important for keeping the rhythm. Without drums, everyone would not be playing together. I wonder why so many bands have trouble finding a permanent drummer… ---
