I keep coming back to this and thinking about the stuff I’ve seen and experienced at lives and how it absolutely does not begin to compare to the deranged things people write online and like I guess I’ve been too detached from The Discourse (I deleted twitter after the elon musk thing and never interacted much with the wider overseas fanbase there, never really used tiktok, use insta but keep making new accounts, etc) bc it is so wild to me that this would be considered upsetting
This one time, at 逆ダイ, a guitarist who shall remain unnamed to make sure he doesn’t get hate, at the second live I’d seen the band in question at, held me to his crotch (feat. very skinny trousers) for a good amount of time and rewarded me afterwards with a fucking headpat and a pick (safely stored in a cheki folder as a good memory

being prude about v系 is just, wow. I’ve never pursued stuff with bandomen but pretending it doesn’t happen or that they don’t do suggestive, horny, whatever things on stage (w/ audience participation with some bands) is entirely delusional. (as is thinking that you as a random gya somewhere are their Special Someone, don’t slide or be slid into the DMs kids)

because it iiiis ! i mean different genres of music collapsing together and " fandom dogmas " mixing together and here is the result.
it have always been part of VK so far so people who likes it should just enjoy the moment and the fun, and take it with a grain of salt instead of going all parasocial over it and think because of random bandman touched or winked at them they’re their propreties. Also the babying is a new phenomenon in VK that leaves me speechless lol

I guess bc they don’t let you take photos at lives in jp most of the time, some fans managed to miss this part and are now Shocked Truly Shocked And Disturbed when they see what’s a random Thursday at black hole?! lol
I looked up the tsuzuku twitter video of him “choking” a fan at a live discussed earlier eventually, I mean it’s good quality for a fan shot video but absolutely nothing out of the ordinary as a thing to happen at a live
But like I know several people who got into v系 because of the fanservice at lives, it’s an amazing contrast.
the babying is what made me nope out of the overseas twitter fan base the last time I tried to see what it was up to a few years ago. It really weirds me out when they unironically treat their

they didn’t grow up watching videos of a certain Onimura, throwing p**n pages magazine at fans, wetting them with a banana shaped plastic gun or making them eat spaghetti during his lives… I despise the man but I respect the artist 
( mostly because he used to be able to reunite at least 30 girls doing furitsuke like no tomorrow for him, like the girlies in the fandom were particularly wild
