It really does feel like Mejibray was the moment those guys struck gold, creating the best music they could together. Ever since they disbanded (indefinite hiatus™️) we’ve not had anything good from any Meji member, and this is a perfect testament that it only gets worse

It’s sad. Koichi has such talent as a bassist but is not the best singer in my opinion. Where did everything go wrong.
Not to get too off topic but honestly tzk could run mejibray without koichi. There are so many fans of their music bound to find some vkei band members to revive that band. I’m sure meto and mia to wouldn’t object to a revival either. I know mia misses mejibray. Not sure about meto.

This could be true, I wonder if Meto could do it whilst owning his business. Also, surely between tzk, MiA and Meto they still have plenty of contacts in the scene and could find a bassist to do it.

I agree that it would be better to compare this with trembling bambi’s previous work. Buuut I guess it’s hard not to lament over what mejibray used to make when they were together.
As for your top hot take, in the grand scheme of things, none of our opinions matter in the world. But the point of a forum is to discuss stuff, and when an artist puts themselves out in public, they’re accepting the fact that people will make a judgement on whether or not their creation is liked. 
I do hope meto and koichi are happy with what they’re doing with their life, but also this is a really lame song.
