For non-VK, I used to love Linkin Park, Rammstein (until their last controversy ), Korn and the likes. Also I was into industrial/EBM like Grendel and Wynardtage.
Mostly I don’t really listen to the entire discography (except the bands mentioned here), so I’d listen to the odd song or two from various metal, industrial or even vk artists (for example I recently stumbled over a snippet of BMTH’s Can You Feel My Heart, so it’s on my playlist now).

Various local hip-hop artists who have sociocritical lyrics that I won’t name because nobody knows them anyway haha

9goats black out and it isn’t even close. after that, it’s some combination of: awoi, oz, kagerou, amber gris, merry, mucc and girugamesh. i stopped keeping up with this genre some years ago so all i really listen to is stuff from the mid 2010s and before lol
for non-jrock, it’s been: tool (yes, all of it, yes even the instrumentals), primus, faith no more, coheed and cambria, the mars volta and soundgarden.
