I’ve been pretty transparent about my listening habits over the years, so nothing in particular for the music category.
Something that may come as a surprise, is my fluctuating interest in the weirdness that is American Christian Fundamentalism as a several-year lurker/watcher of Fundie Fridays and all the fundie “snark” subreddits. I had my glimpses of that world a handful of times growing up in the Bible Belt and found it so foreign it was entertaining, lmao. I feel bad for kids who grow up around shit like this, though.
I should say this was also a product of the Everything is Terrible (video not related) pipeline of obscure '90s VHS content. A close friend of mine had a bunch of those that I’d watch from his homeschool “regimen”.
I think when you reach a certain age you stop caring about what other people think.
In my case, I don’t feel specially guilty, but sometimes I spend an unholy amount of time looking at different kinds of dolls (specially bjds and licca-chan dolls) when I know I can’t buy them at the moment because of lack of space, playful pets and the fact I’m broke rn lmao
talking with animals. no matter he/she is or understands. yeah I’m weird.
I ever had a “chat” with a lawn grub last month. strange enough, he/she didn’t try to escape. I spoke Japanese with him/her for 5 minutes.
Buying classic car models.
I know it’s a waste of money, but I am insane american muscle fan and I buy those babies every once in a while I get my hands on them. I just need them in my life!
When I was a little kid I was sick and my father bought me two of these, boy in my hospital room played with some and I really liked them. Back then was no such a big choice but actually I got yellow lotus and an old mustang, still have them. A few years ago I started collecting them.
Bollywood movies starring Shah Ruhk Khan. I just love the absurdly unrealistic romance and I was even disappointed when one movie ended with the female lead realising she should not date her therapist (Shah Ruhk Khan!!!). I wanted cheesey, unhealthy obsession not life advice <__<
