Message from the members:
Following the recent announcement of Satsuki’s graduation, Maya, who had become a Project Member due to family circumstances, is now also graduating.

I’ve known Maya since before Zeke Deux, and our story began when I invited him to join the band. Without hesitation, he responded with a firm “I’ll do it!” (At that moment, I was both surprised and really happy, haha).

Since then, we’ve traveled to many places and pushed through challenges together, making him a very important companion to me. When he had to become a Project Member due to family reasons, I was truly saddened, but I knew that his passion for music remained unchanged, so I continued to support him from afar.

Now, with his graduation, I once again feel a sense of sadness, but I hope you can see this as a positive decision for both of us to keep moving forward. To everyone who has been worried after the consecutive graduation announcements of Satsuki and Maya, I sincerely apologize.

I will continue to protect this precious place called Zeke Deux together with Haruka. I want you to see our determination and spirit, and I hope you’ll stay by our side. And of course, please continue to support Satsuki and Maya in their future endeavors as well.

Thank you for everything!

Kakeru

As we enter this new phase, I’m sorry to have to make an even sadder announcement.

It’s been about five months since Maya left Zeke Deux, and during this time, I’ve realized a lot of things. His personality and bass playing were a big part of my journey. However, this was also an unavoidable decision in order to move forward.

The achievements and memories from the three years we spent together in Zeke Deux will remain, and most importantly, we will continue to be friends.

On March 25th, I want to take the stage with a deep sense of gratitude for both Satsuki and Maya.

—Haruka

With the graduation of Maya, the bassist, on March 25th, I want to share that, just like me, Maya will graduate at the same time. We’ve had many experiences together in ZekeDeux, spending a lot of time together, having meetings as the clumsy duo, laughing together, and also sharing moments of frustration. I have many memories with her.

What stands out the most to me is that Maya’s bass sound made me feel the most at ease while playing guitar in ZekeDeux. She was such an essential part of ZekeDeux, and I still believe nothing compares to it. Due to family circumstances, we haven’t been able to share the stage lately, and that’s why Maya is graduating now. Thank you for all the support for ZekeDeux with Maya and Satsuki.

From now on, ZekeDeux will continue moving forward, and both Maya and I will keep progressing. While supporting each other, we will also be good rivals.

Thank you again for your support of ZekeDeux, Maya, and Satsuki.

And lastly, thank you, Maichan.

Satsuki.

The time we spent together wasn’t that long, but I believe we had meaningful moments. Graduation is a new beginning. It’s not just a sad thing.

We’ll meet again soon somewhere.

When that happens, please let’s talk a lot.
