actually, 夜魔徒撫死子 should be read as “yamato nadeshiko”. the word is originated from 大和撫子. they’re a pair of words with the same pronunciation but different meanings.

and, 夜(ya)魔(ma)徒(to)撫(nade)死(shi)子(ko), all the characters are 音読み (onyomi) except 撫(bu) and 子(shi), which are 訓読み (kunyomi).

I love these guys. Their songs are great, including OTOGIs voice. Go back with them since their 2005 releases. Always saw potential in them then i saw their popularity after Nakunaranai Uta and DEADMAN were released. I really did not expect them to become this big or last this long and i am soo happy they did. An amazing band, will forever love them.

I agree, they developed really nicely over the course of their activity. Otogi especially. It’s even more amazing when you listen to Otogi’s pre Awoi bands. He sounded totally different and during Awoi’s days he improved a lot. A shame that he doesn’t seem to do anything now.

Yes it does suck i really wish this band came back soooo badly. They only managed to make a couple of releases when Otogi fully mastered his voice on the Abelcain release. Otogi is currently retired from musical activities rn as for Shou its currently unknown what happened to him. Everyone else is in servere addicts only but it doesnt sound the same. He has some of the voice that Otogi had but nothing like him at all.

Finally getting into this band after a year haha.

I remember hearing a ballad type song by awoi on subthatsong’s channel. Anyone remember it? I think it’s in either 葵～THE SECOND～ or 葵

This has to be one of their best songs live. For i usually don’t like slow songs. I like weird ones like this.

A little upset they didnt do a remaster オセロ (Othello), ゴースト(Ghost), アンブレラ(Umbrella), 蛍火 (Hotarubi), 水鏡 (Mizukagami), 排水口 (Haisuikou) but its ok. They are still amazing songs as they are :slight_smile:

That’s some crazy vibrato at the start of the video! It sounds a bit familiar so i probably have heard it somewhere.

I don’t usually do slow songs either but I ended up liking it quite a bit. Otogi’s voice is a major factor lol.

Maybe. The song is from the Birthday album. Studio ver. sound better but i do like both versions.
