That would be the only reason, yes… But I saw them 5 times in France. And I think they already pass their musical peak!
I actually liked the PV. But in the end, that’s just one more song revealed from an already sparse album of new material.
I wonder why it was SO HARD to release this? It’s essentially a best-of album at this point, or 2 singles. Making such a big deal about nothing.

It’s sad, although from the video it doesn’t really feel like that. Back in Budokan everything was great, and since then they’ve only played two new songs. In Houou, in my opinion, they really lack instrumental sections, but for example they’ve never really had many guitar solos anyway, and I actually like that, don’t like solos just for the sake of solos. And it seems Reiki also said that he doesn’t really like solos, but I might be wrong.
Yue said that his parts in the new songs are actually quite difficult, and that they all worked hard on the album.
In a recent interview Yue spoke very positively about Lime and said he feels guilty, like they kind of put everything on him. He also said they should have tried writing songs earlier, but now it feels like it’s not the right time to step into his “world.” Lime previously said he would be happy if other members wrote music too.
About the hiatus, he spoke quite positively, saying that everything is fine in the band and that it’s not a disbandment. He said he plans to do some volunteer work with animals for now.
It’s not surprising, considering how much time Lime spent writing Oni and Red, and I support this approach, but I don’t support albums like this. It’s basically just a compilation, which is what an album is in a way, but when you’ve already heard half of the songs, the feeling is not the same.
What really surprises me is the presence of such old songs as Kizuato and Kuroi Ame. It would have made much more sense to include Beautiful Days and Ningen Shikkaku. If they wanted to re-record them, they could have added them as bonus tracks.

I really would not mind this whole album with mostly pre released tracks, If the band would not be so fucking dramatic about it.
You have to release one more track than usual in your old single distribution format why are you struggling so much?

5 new songs is still more than a lot of bands do these days. 
I see. I was about to skip as well.
I just think that if they called kataki their first album, they would not got themselves into this mess. They set themselves for failure with this whole “1st last album” shtick

True. That whole statement lends itself to undue pressure and expectations. They really set themselves up for failure by hyping this LONG before it was ready.
