キズ (kizu) “1st last album” 「極楽より極上の雨」 will be released at 2025/12/10
So they’re finally gonna do it.
8 posts were split to a new topic: キズ (KIZU) - R/ E/ D/
That’s so incredibly far away… gonna need a few more listens to make up my mind on the song though
1st Last Album? Will they disband after the album release?
it would be funny if 10 years down the road they change their mind about never putting out another album and release a “2ND LAST ALBUM”
Nah they’ll do more since they’re telling you this is the first.
I bet any album they release will be called a last album.
Lime has said in the past they had never intended to ever release an album, but after the Budokan, and the fact that theyve only been releasing 1 song per, theyre putting together an album.
After the Sugar debacle, i have concerns, even though i enjoy the band immensely.
So yeah, 1st and last album. Calling it now: re-recordings of Oni & R/E/D/, and 4 new songs, 3 interludes.
i was about to say “but Oni literally JUST came out too!” but you know what, that tracks. Probably an album mix or something.
I would LOVE one of the 15/15.2/17/19 series as well but I guess that phase has ended now.
AIZU… this album can be great or maybe lime will use AI in album production then will be a mess.
“First last album”, what does that even mean?
Anyway, excited to hear a full, intentional Kizu release. Hope it’s not just 15 singles compiled together.
Also: That video was total shit. AI is so incredibly lame and bad looking. Frustrating seeing other creatives rely on it so deeply to achieve their vision.
Hey, ruka³, we’re homies now. 15/15.2/17/19 are all bangers and we need 13.
i also think that this is worth mentioning, lime and kaoru just had a duo interview several days ago
the lyric video that was dropped a while back has lots of references.

Not surprised how disjointed Kizu are.
Any more Girugamesh reference? There should be more than Zantetsuken. Probably a Japanese word translated from one of their songs in English.
I found TATTOO mentioned in the lyrics assuming it’s TATTOO by Tatsuro. I wonder if “長い髪を追いかけて” could refer to Tatsuro as a person.
lime has talked several times about mucc being his favorite band, and one of the reasons why he decided to start making music. so i guess its safe to assume so
the tattoo lyric at ~4:30 is translated to
“Come on,
tomorrow, maybe I’ll even get a tattoo on my face and try regretting it”
They are just trolling/trying to be “edgy” with the title, and its fine
In other interviews Lime said that they are all very different in their tastes and even their goals within the band, like each of them is a frontman.
But at the same time they are very close and tightly knit.
For example, in a recent Rock and Read interview:
— People say you get along really well. Has that harmony remained unchanged?
Kyonosuke: We’ve always gotten along well.
Lime: Yeah, we really have great relationships (laughs). Even if one of us messes up, we forgive each other easily.
Reiki: Exactly. We take everything calmly, in a good way.
Yue: Even when all four of us are in the dressing room together, no one ever feels awkward or uncomfortable.
I’ve heard that in some bands, the dressing room can be a heavy place.
Lime: (laughs) Sometimes members from other bands run away into our dressing room to hide.
— Are you still interested in each other as people?
Yue: Yeah, the interest never fades. For example, Lime is always getting into new hobbies, and it’s really fun to watch.
Lime: “Always getting into new hobbies” sounds kind of weird (laughs). Like it’s a bad thing.
Yue: Let me rephrase — “in a good way” (laughs).
Kyonosuke: Even though his interests change, there’s a certain consistency to it.
He just knows how to find cool things in all sorts of areas.
I think it shows a lot of flexibility.
Lime: Flexibility — that’s what it comes down to.
— Even with the band’s growing popularity and the changes around you, have you managed to keep the same atmosphere within the group?
Lime: It feels like nothing’s changed. It’s just the same as when we used to play at Shibuya REX.
Yue: Yeah, nothing’s really changed.
Reiki: I feel like my respect for them actually grows year by year.
Normally, when you’ve been friends with someone for a long time, you stop expecting new things from them.
But because we’re in the same band, every year I find even more reasons to admire these guys.
I think I’ve even learned how to show care — in a good way.
Raimu: …You weren’t the type of guy to say things like that!
Reiki: Uh… I’m joking!
Yue: We all heard that very clearly (laughs).
Lime: I guess he just couldn’t say it out loud before.
But I think he always felt that way.
