I would love if they started doing albums every 2/3 years like a normal band and ALL of them were the numbered “Last Album” I may start doing this for one of my projects.
This is the musical equivalent of being trapped in a movie theater with a ton of zoomers screaming “CHICKEN JOCKEY” while popcorn and unknown liquids fly everywhere.
It’s an ADHD-fueled hellscape with the guitarist doing his best Angus Young impersonation while he swings the guitar over his shoulder every 20 seconds. It’s almost comical.
And then you toss in the bad AI art and you have one hell of a musical experience. I WANT to like this band, but it’s all so tiresome.

The chorus doesn’t really sound like Mucc to me, though maybe I don’t know their work well enough. I also have some associations with Kiyoharu. This is my favorite song.

You should check out the version where Lime sings it with Tatsurou. It’s pretty clear that this song is MUCC worship.

In the verses Tatsuro sounds very natural, I’m not so sure about the chorus, but either way this is one of the best duets. Lime always says that Mucc had a big influence on him, and you can really feel it.
I actually liked the re-recording. At least they didn’t ruin the song. The re-recording of my favorite the GazettE song “Guren” sounds to me as if the soul has been sucked out of it.
The video is beautiful, but they could have come up with something more interesting. Still, I’m glad it’s there now.

I REALLY like the rerecording, honestly. Super punchy mix, Reiki and Lime nailed those real glassy Jazzmaster tones (those ain’t Gretsch tones!), Yue stays clear and concise. Kyonosuke we don’t gotta talk about. That dude WORKS.
