some people say this remake doesn’t ruin the song.
well
it does not properly ruin the track but all of the small aditions feel like they just do enough to put the track appart from it precesor without improving and moreso just making the track in its whole slightly less appealing.

That’s nice that you feel that way. It’s okay to understand why you prefer the original, and you can still enjoy it the same. It’s not going anywhere. I think it’s justified a rerecording, as it has become the band’s theme song in a way. It also sounds better if you have overheads/studio monitors.
