Everyone is really talking about Kizu being the new big thing but for me somehow their music just feels generic VK. Am I alone on this? Am I the weird one? I know everyone likesdislikes different things and all that, but something feels off for me here.
It definitely can be useful. Just a bummer that all the small fees add up to quite a bit sometimes, but you can still end up getting a gold price in comparison so can be worth it.
I am not getting what you are trying to say. A lot of people like Taylor Swift. I don’t, so what? If you don’t want to get on the hype train, don’t. It’s not that deep, you don’t have to follow every trend. Also they are around since 2017, I wouldn’t consider it new.
In terms of popularity, venue capacities getting bigger for them and the fact they’ve just done 3 shows outside of Japan. Whether their music is generic or not, they are turning out to be the next big thing in VK imo
I just want to join and enjoy like you guys do. Which would you say is their catchiest song of them all?
@Baroque My top 3 Kizu tracks are Kawazu, Uramibushi and Hato. I’d say there is a good variation in the style of those songs that’ll give you some flavour behind their material! Others may give you better suggestions though!
Thanks buddy ill check em out!
For me it’s Milk, but you’ve seen it roasted already here before. The other one is Buta.
Haha that was probably me. Its interesting though how everyones opinions are different though, hato is far from a favourite of theirs for me too but the majority of their stuff is decent minus a couple of tracks. I must have a weird taste as all the songs of theirs i would consider favourites, noone else seems to mention them. Buta is a good shout though!
Two very solid tracks
I love with an burning passion Juusei and Anagura
I will for sure do later, thanks!
I’m a bit off these days cause I have my bachelor’s thesis next friday
Roppongi for me. Not sure why, but Lime being all over dramatic looks put on to me rather than genuinely feeling it.
Lime doesn’t have a unique sounding voice?! He is probably the only visual kei vocalist with timbre I never heard from someone else, and also he has absolutely unique singing style for visual key. Actually his range, stamina, flexibility and pitch just impressive.
It’s absolutely ridiculous to call their music generic)
Lime made step back and was singing as second voice there. If he would sing as he does live…
Did i say he didnt have a unique sounding voice? He totally does, but I actually find it a bit tiring to listen to sometimes. Sometimes i fancy listening to Kizu then remember i have to listen to his voice over the music and it just puts me off. But when in the mood i love these guys.
