I was waiting for this. It wouldn’t be a new Black Butler season without SID doing a theme song for it! Their Black Butler theme songs are some of my favorites, especially Enamel.
I think they are trying disassociate themselves from the anime scene in general, it doesn’t help that Black Butler Season 2 is often considered the worst season in the series. Besides, people associate Black Butler with SID anyway, Not Gazette.

Coming from nekkichi I am surprised you found the chorus memorable.
lol!!! I really think this song is an upgrade over literally soporific content they released for single A-sides over past years, and I don’t think I’ve listened to any recent album of theirs in full. this one was nice.
I’m finding it hard to get into the song.
I prefer their last single Omokage; got similar vibes to Jiu no Kuchizuke owing to the ?erhu/kokyu. Umibe was a good album as well; it was a new direction for the band:
