Posting a band that had recently peaked my interest. This band actually formed back in 2022. This is their new single YAIBA which release in 2025-12-07. They honestly look visual Kei to me but they don’t claim to be to my knowledge ![]()

They are this Youtuber-Idol band thing with some good songs and some bad press and line up issues. Most of their line up quit or were fired for various reasons, and same with their staff and management.
Got any more information about this?
We need the tea!!!
Sure, but fair warning: it’s a lot. Starts out normally enough then gets messy.
They began as a 6 piece with a keyboardist / screamer and a saxophonist in addition to a standard rock band set up. The saxophone was a nice touch but was underutilized and she spent a lot of time dancing on stage. She was fired for basic stuff like missing obligations and unfortunately was never replaced.
The original keyboardist and drummer left next. The drummer sounded fine to me, but she said she was having trouble with the heavier stuff and now plays in a pop rock 3 piece, so I hope she’s having a better time with that. The keyboardist seemed to like the screaming part, but she wasn’t that skilled at it and looked like she was barely playing the keyboard too, letting the backing tracks do the work. She does idol stuff now, and the two of them are still friends.
Then they come back with 3 additions as a new 6 piece: new drummer, keyboardist and a dedicated screamer / rapper. Up to this point they’ve been doing great and getting bigger and bigger, so it’s a major test. They do one song like this and it performs well, then they film a concert (which is most of their live footage online right now) and it goes well.
Then things don’t go well. First, they have some kind of disaster filming a song for a tv show where they didn’t have the right gear and their staff were joking around and perhaps looked careless or incompetent. The guitarist gave them a verbal beatdown in public, which is just not done over there. She thought about quitting, but instead went on a sort of public strike protesting for changes, and this got a mixed reaction. There’s a video of her addressing this that wasn’t taken down from a big social media purge that you can still watch on their channel.
Then the former singer speaks out, posting a series of things that have all been deleted. She tells everyone that their staff has been bluntly pressuring her to get plastic surgery and forcing her to work while injured or recovering. She also has some personal issues with the guitarist, accusing the staff of favoring her while throwing some accusations her way. All of that got deleted and she quit the band after, which was a huge blow that they are still trying to recover from. The ‘producer’ of the band (not a music producer, but their business overlord who put it together) quits too. They go into hibernation to figure out what to do, and the new keyboardist leaves (I have no idea why besides the general disarray they were in at the time).
The four remaining members come back months later with a support vocalist for the clean singing (I like her, but I don’t think she has the range to be a full replacement) and that’s the current line up. They are put together enough to make music and perform, but they still need a full time singer to be complete.
