Aish damn shit but also this means Sunday was an attempt at following medical recms and not jump around a lot? Well fuck!!! I see we have another take no break type of situation does this man ever learn I wish that somehow he finds a way to relax a bit but thanks for letting us know
There had already been quite a few fans that noticed Yomi moving around less these past couple years. But it wasn’t exactly clear why. I thought maybe it was him getting old ? But it didn’t make sense since he’s not that old. Though Ruki from The Gazette also does the same nowadays
Yaaaaay new release!! When was the last time they released a mini album? Im also a but bummed its digital only or so It seems
there’ll be a venue-only version released later this month, and then 2 versions coming out in September
The only one I can think of is Outlaw which was 2002
Right? Comes on the heels of celebrating the 25th anniversary of their only EP.
Im also glad for what are 2 regular CD versions with M-Card later on.
Also! They are releasing this under Nipponn Crown and everything points to them being signed with them again. I don’t know of they’ll gobback to happinet for future releases but It seems that’s over for now. But I think Jakigan Meister will probably be under happinet going forward.
That’s even more exciting than this mini’s existence!!
:(((( pls take care yomi…
Well that’s sure a lot of is this real life or just fantasy this week bless whatever the fuck going on in their minds lately . . .
No official announcement yet but I hope they are back to nippon crown
Maybe it’s just my own thought but i feel like Nippon Crown is quite supportive towards niche (but potential) artists they also signed with DEZERT recently
Same, I did feel weird since obviously Yomi is a gym nerd now and he has been doing a lot of muscle and flexibility training, he should have more strength than normal 40s ojisan…then now I know the reason
Anw I hope he would somehow find a way to treat it
Does it mean Yomi never composed in the past ?
Correct. From the beginning it was Sakito and Ruka. Occasionally Hitsugi. Yomi has written lyrics for quite a few songs but it’s Sakito and Ruka who compose them. Same goes for Ni~ya but he’s composed I think once before (Nothing You Lose)
Ni~ya’s composed a few times (I think for Nightmare, Hitsugi and him are about the same). Pretty sure he did Rover, Nothing you lose, Ray of Light, Rewrite, and Dissemble. Also Believing and Regolith no Bohyou, but on those ones, Sakito is also listed as a composer. I don’t think on any of the songs he wrote the lyrics, though
Ni-ya has a music credit along with Ruka prior to all that in a Libido song iirc, but I have to check which one
Dissemble is a funky one. Composed by Ni~ya and written by Yomi. Really like it though.
Oh, Remembrance, yeah!
Remembrance is in my top 3 songs from that album!

Report: Before the show
Yesterday live was the start of the second half of 25th anniversary tour. In the first half, they performed songs until around the WORLD ruler/Gianizm era. As you can see from the setlist, they are now entering majestic parade early 2010s era.
Yesterday was HOT AND CROWDED. It’s mid summer in Japan right now…the humidity was not that bad but the heat was there.
I think yesterday was an almost sold out show. I lined up quite early for the merch, but it still took me 1 hour to be able to buy them. I think the new acrylic standees and the regional limited magnet were sold out 5 minutes after I finished buying mine. The venue cap is 1300, my fanclub ticket was no. 99x, and when I got inside there must have been a few hundred people still lining up.
The floor was soooo packed. I heard someone said that the staff couldn’t even close the door. I could barely breathe and move during the show, no space to even move my legs so no jump or headbanging for me.
Report: The show
The SE were played, This is Nightmare then the racing delinquent song that were also played in Europe and Brazil. Everyone was curious what Nightmare were going to wear.
Each member entered the stage by order, they were in tokkofuku uniforms. It was dark but I could notice some different kanji on members’ outfit.
The floor became silent as the SE ended. Ruka started playing the intro of Parade, the light shone on him, showing the RED tokkofuku popped out in the dark. It felt like the hall exploded with screams. It was a…majestic moment and felt so ‘vkei’.
It was so special having the chance to listen to majestic parade songs in live. I think I saw a tweet from an Azavana guy, he commented that he enjoyed how the instrument sounded distinguishable but harmonious, blending well with Yomi’s deep and powerful voice (this is also how I feel about majestic parade). I also loved the strong drums and bass lines and the mix of jazz/marching sounds The order of the majestic parade songs in this setlist is quite similar to their order in the album.
Dizzy somehow fit perfectly between Parade and Mr.trash music.
Mr.trash music, Ni~ya showing off his iconic low and bold bass style is so satisfying.
Hypnoland…was slightly off…The audience was like ‘hmm what song is this I have listened to it a few times but not that much so I can’t recall it’.
MELODY and Lost in Blue, my favourite performance in this show. I have no musical intelligence, but I will try to describe what the adjustments (that I think) they made. There was a slight change in MELODY’s intro (I thought they were going to play Lost in Blue but it was MELODY), the instruments of A melody and B melody were notably more complex. The guitar was more sophisticated with a slightly faster pace and more high notes, the bass was also slightly faster, with some low notes that nicely contrast with the guitar. Drums, vocal, chorus stayed the same. Overall, the melody was faster and brighter than the original version, but the unchanged parts kept the sorrowful spirit of the song.
This helped create a beautiful transition to Lost in Blue, whose tempo is close to MELODY, and also delivers melancholy feelings.
Killed in Summer was after Lost in Blue because why not. Both are about how we are all suffering and suffocated in summer.
Cynical Re:actor and Gianizm 9 brought back the upbeat energy, then Can you do it wrapped up the first half.
Encore
Mist, their new song. I enjoyed it in live much more than the studio version. Each instrument was clear, Yomi’s voice was great. It’s their 2nd time performing this song. It felt like the ‘nurturing’ stage where they focus on playing it perfectly, before they find a way to deliver more emotions of the song.
Dratisca is a transition from Mist to Gokujo Isshiki.
Gokujo Isshiki, I don’t know what to comment on this treasure. This is the song that makes you want headbang and dance until your neck and back break.
Finally, Simple Life wrapped up the whole majestic parade theme show.
Bonus: MC and other moments
Ni~ya was dancing so hard in Masquerade? and tripped. Just then Yomi, Sakito, Hitsu turned back and they were all like ‘where is the bass guy???’. They found Ni~ya lying under Yomi’s foot, Hitsu and Sakito slided to Ni~ya and played guitar next to him. Yomi offered a hand to help him stand up. Fans were worried (because of Ni~ya’s leg), but they just laughed their ass off and continued running around.
In Brazil, someone tried to sell cannabis to Hitsu Yomi said it’s probably because Hitsu looks like someone who does drugs a lot
Hitsu was like ‘NO NO’ but the guy kept offering. He even asked Hitsu for instagram, Hitsu denied but he was surprised that the cannabis guy’s account has a few thousand followers. Yomi said that no one offered him, but even if he uses marijuana and gets caught, he will never freaking apologise*.
(*New joke from 2 years ago. Yomi said that even if he does anything against the law and gets caught, he will never apologise on the stage (but he will do it off stage. Sakito LOVED that defiant attitude and called Yomi rebellious and has a rock spirit. Their newest t shirt has the print ‘We are going wild and may cause inconvenience’ with every member lowering their head to apologise, except Yomi)
New design of tokkofuku
Sakito: nothing change, only the colour
Yomi: right leg, 生涯現役 (work/perform for life)
Hitsu: new owl design on the back, blood? design on the chest
Ni~ya: Nakamoto on left leg (his fav ramen restaurant)
Ruka: 人畜無害 on leg? (人畜無害 = no harm to humans and animals, meaning you act thoughtfully and cause no trouble to others.
Yomi commented, “Right, right, the last incident right?” (ruka’s injury and absence), Ruka shut Yomi down “Well have I caused trouble to you?” . Sakito said Ruka is witty for coming up with this phrase)
Shou (A9), Shiyu (Azavana) went to the show
This man 10/10
Also @mmm thank you…i live vicariously through you…
