ナイトメア (NIGHTMARE)

There’s also the part after Yomi introduced the new red uniforms and said

"Will you guys be ok? I hope you don’t mistake us for my little brother’s band… "

Thanks a lot for the detailed report! Its so cool how they are charging the setlist andbgoing through their eras doing little new arrangements here and there.

Niya confirms they are recording even more stuff:

This guys are gonna fucking evaporate from overworking I never have thought it was feasable to record anything during such a tour but they are at full force. I think getting signed to a proper label again did a ton for them (not no day Happinet is not real, there are great artists there but It felt like they were indies with a big distributor backing them)

Thank everyone for reading my report. I was struggling with English at 2AM…
All August shows are sold out + busy work schedule so no report in August  hope I can write some in September

I have been thinking that they would release new stuff. Smh I have the feeling the new EP is more of a “pre-celebration”, like “let the members have some fun trying new stuff”. Also if it’s Nightmare, high chance that they would make an anniversary album.

Then we also got some hints from them…
A few months ago Sakito revealed that he’s making a song called Nightmarine.
In a recent live, Ni~ya said he asked Sakito to make a 4th Gokujo, Hitsugi stopped him “hey are you going to spoil everything now???”, then Sakito and Ni~ya awkwardly tried to cover up like “no I just think it would be a cool idea” :eyes::eyes::eyes:

They have to do an album, but I gave out Hope when they announced the tour. Seems everything is possible when you overwork beyond reason!

I’d love to have a studio version of Gianizm re[aku]to. But that song is a bit too old to show Up in al album like that. Maybe in a compilation like they did with DSenjou no tragedy?

I’m so Happy about attendance to their tour its being such a big success.

I don’t know if I have said this anywhere but they have changed some parts of Star Spangled Breaker lyrics and made it more positive and fun. Hope this will be in the new album :face_savoring_food:

Mebius flowing into Dasei Boogie must’ve been amazing

Also I love Last Note, The Last Show, General AND Demand. So happy with that order

This medley is very interesting too. We can guess which parts are played and kinda where they’d transition but the flow of it doesn’t compute entirely to me yet

It would be dope It instead of compilation album no. 700 they released studio versions of the medleys they worked on for this tour…

I put the most recent one lowest which is a shame but tbh all of their post hiatus singles would be above Nox Lux so it balances out

btw i know i’ve said this before but it’s ridiculous how much better of an album To Be or Not to Be becomes when you simply remove -Truth- and make Isolation (a B-side from Rewrite) the album’s track 7 instead.

lets tracks 5-8 be like the nice stretch of ballads that used to end Naitomea NPC/VAP albums, except here it’s in the middle before picking back up with Terminal’s pop energy.

But with truth splitting this part with it’s super harsh guitars and clap SFX……. i really can’t imagine what they were going for.

sorry naito but mine’s the real version of this album and if anyone wants to give it another chance i hiiiiigghlly recommend they try it with this change.

edit, bc i can’t stop singing this album’s praises - imho this is Hitsugi and Sakito’s most intricate guitar work in their career and it’s SO hard to notice without paying direct attention. They’re both doing so much at all times but in a way it’s so minimalistic it just flies by you. I’ve never heard a sound like this by another artist, and they’re at the top of their game here.

Heeeeyyy ain’t compilations cheating!? Also @chrisXlr8r posting a revision to his own list lol

I personally don’t see mini albums or compilations as something to include on my list so I wouldn’t updates that even if I don’t agree with It anymore since It shifts daily, as I said back them. But I’ll agree with @rsm_rain on TBONTB and Isolation.

I agree with you 100% on no compilations for this extremely serious high-stakes game we’re playing - but!

In my mind 2003 Gianizm ore & omae aren’t compilations bc except for M~aria (which, idk why it’s in there, i take it and the repeat of wasurenagusa off) all those songs “live” nowhere else; they’re not picked up from parts of albums but have all ended up here.

So i see it more like when indies bands do those 12-month-consecutive singles, and then at the end put all 12 tracks together in a disc. To me, that’s an album with an unusual launch strategy.

And yesss so happy to hear someone else tried the tbontb track swap bc that album is so underappreciated until switching it up like that

This is a really good point, changed my mind and I’ll consider those two “proper albums” (whatever that means) from now on. I’ll now give them a new chance under that light and see how a new updates ranking comes out!

Won’t be able to see it live, I just hope they have really fucking amazing show with a very nice album announcement at the end to tie it all up nicely… and then they all go on a long nice vacation. And go back to the studio all nice and rested

I love that they’re streaming on Zaiko :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: Zaiko DOES allow international purchases which is how I watched their Farewell to Shadows stream
