OH that explains so much about the venue and costume choice! I’m curious now as to what we’ll see. Thank you for the info ![]()
They did a medley of songs from their indies era to b-sides from 2004/2005 in the middle of that show, maybe they’ll do it again with even more songs? That would be cool!
It’s all my speculation/expectation. I’ve been prediction an album for a long time for this year but it never seems to happen in the window I expect so maybe I miss again!
They already did a great job of self-covers right before the hiatus, so i’m hoping we don’t get any more of those lol
But a new track in the style of their Speed-Disk compositions??? Could be an easy Song of the Year, if that’s somehow what these are building towards
I don’t wanna be a “back in my day” boomer, but there’s something undeniably cool about seeing a band put on their shounen aesthetics twenty years out, even when their current output is still plenty interesting to me
I totally get that. I was cheesing so hard when Yomi pulled out the Super Saitama Arena fit from the 10th anniversary last year. It was nice to see
To this day I still go back to listen to that medley. I love how smooth the transitions are and Yomi singing the chorus of Believe in major
Yeah they did the same with Nox:Lux they showed Rad Dream at a concert before it dropped. This time they showed Kuon and Labyrinth both of which sound like album songs
It really is superbly done! We need one including the 2000’s demos, 5+1=? and just a heap of deep cuts, especially since their 25th anniversary is right around the corner!
I learnt from the excellent Nightmare Brazil Street team IG that Hibiya Hall is gonna be rebuilt, which does add to the “emoi”-ness of them choosing to do this right before their 25th.
Not sure if its old news since it was already announced last year but link below anyways. I’m optimistic for a better and more acessible Hibiya Hall but I do think that some might feel that the vibes/feeling of the place might change for older fans.
The vibe of the arena itself would be different yes. Same with the members. In 2005 they showcased their new songs while also paying tribute to their older songs. I’d assume they’d do the same here. It seems they really care for that tour and tour final. In their 2020 Special Live Gianizm concert, I’m pretty sure this was the first Yomi listed among memorable performances
The madmen literally recreated the entire set list from the Tenka Daiboso DVD from 2005! The medley was played and everything! Praying this gets a DVD release!
These guys really outdid themselves ![]()
I wish there’s a DVD because I want to support them directly but yet streaming is unfortunately stuck at local eplus…I yapped this at the other thread but yeah pretty please Nightmare or I’m gonna have to struggle writing an email…
(idk if it’s a good idea)
But if anything, the upcoming countrywide tour with the tenka daiboso theme is probably gonna be just as kickass, if not, a greatly more intimate and nostalgic experience!
Yeah shoutout to that one guy who predicted Nightmare would disband next year. Bro was COMPLETELY wrong
(they could still disband at the end of next year and end on a high note tho)
Gonna say this in the most Singaporean way of dispelling bad luck: aiYOH CHOY CHOY CHOY TOUCH WOOD!!! (knock on wood)
seriously speaking though if they do I’m gonna sit and cry and beg them to continue with their side projects ![]()
They could buttttt it wouldn’t really make sense. If they were going to disband then it wouldn’t make sense to make even bigger projects together. Unless they’re masterminds in legacy of course
They had a chance to disband with the hiatus, now it doesn’t make too much sense indeed.
They recently did a stream all of them together too just talking casually and they seemed fine. They finally addressed that ruka and sakito hate each other rumor from 10 years ago which I always thought was a silly rumor
What did they say about the Ruka and Sakito hate each other rumour? Not that I bought in to it I’m just very curious, the only two who I ever thought may have beef is Hitsugi and Sakito but nothing huge haha
Ruka and Sakito were spotted at the same festival/event and didn’t acknowledge each other. Which is so silly. They have lives independent of each other
The members just said it was false and that there is no beef. Very laid back and casual
