Surely not a musical masterpiece but it’s catchy and fun and I love how the outfits are just ~summer vibe~ but with the hair and male-up it looks still 100% visual kei.

„Political correctness“ and the album cover is a fucking black women I will shot myself in the fucking head.

you actually could turn this theme into something interesting considering that „good manners“ can sometimes excuse for the masses the cruel actions of a political figure and pink washing war crimes is something that exist but no, they decided onto.
„I don’t really like black people“
„Give me the N-word pass please“

I remember that someone once said that a lot of those Visual Kei groups are more right leaning than you would expect and I really see it in their case.

That is probably true but I think the reason is misguided exspectations. Visual kei never was very political. The classic visual kei was arguably rebelling against japanese uniformity but that is not necessarily a left theme. I am not sure how true that is for modern vk. It seems even less political or rebellious.

A lot of the aesthetics used in visual kei can make it seem like they are punk related or fit into left themes like gender or LBGT but I’d argue it’s relatively apolitical and you probably find the whole political spectrum among bandomen.

Regarding the cover: I wouldn’t put it past them that this was not intentioned the way it looks to us. But it is at least very unlucky…

Did you really exspect such a deep level of social critic from the guys with the pool party mv?

we all know that Mathilda is secretly the Rage Against The Machine of VK

I disagree on that because it’s actually very political. But as long as this ain’t obvious to people themselves they don’t make it political on purpose so as a result it at least feels apolitical. Combined with upbringing and what all people inheret by that from the surrounding society it’s not even surprising. Doesn’t mean I agree but I see where it’s coming from.
