ex.SHiSHi vocalist 伊吹玲乃 (Reno Ibuki) (real name 金井靖宗 (Yasutoshi Kanai)), turned host at TOP DANDY TOKYO, has been arrested in June 2024 after having collected 1.5 million yen from a female customer, who turned out to have obtained it through fraud.
The arrest came after authorities indicted the female customer, a regular at TOP DANDY, who revealed to police she told Reno through LINE messaging about swindling 20 million yen from a man through a romance scam, and gave it to him. Reno, a 35 year old man who larps himself as “forever 16”, had known about the romance scam, as he had previously demanded the woman spend the 1.5 million yen on a bottle of champagne, but she initially refused (wasn’t sure about this part, please correct me if it’s wrong). He would then go on to say that unlike the sugar baby scammer Riri-chan and her host cohort, he would get away with it as he left no evidence.
Reno, who is still active on Twitter, is now getting comments on his latest tweet from trolls about his arrest.
yes, he was arrested in June of last year. The article was published yesterday tho, but it doesn’t mention anything about a trial (unless the girl is going on trial soon)

Dammit, Reno. I liked all his bands, but shady host shenanigans have existed time immemorial, and inevitably vk bandmen/former-bandmen will get implicated once in a while
Also, you are right about it being about toilet activities, I think on my end shi shi (or shee shee) means to pee rather than poop (see meme at end of this post!)
