I only find it wierd they announced the crowdfund way back in January, and never talked about it again. I’m tracking Yui’s twitter the since they announced it and nothing came out of it yet
Maybe they discussed it in some whip!channel live, but I don’t watch their lives. The only thing I seem to recall is that I saw some moves by denkare (their alter-ego band) sometime ago
kaya is on a major label and his past 2 albums (cover album and an original one and I think there’s a 2nd cover album planned? I don’t really follow) were both crowdfunded
it really is no different from preordering with some extra jush like special live tickets, meet-n-greet, pre-order only trinkets, etc, taken from record stores to the band’s team directly
I thought the Hades saga was over so this is very unexpected. I don’t know how to feel about this song, it’s very messy and overwhelming. Feels closer to their earlier songs with all those electronic elements and Yui singing with that super high register. I hope they let this song a bit more on the oven, it’s not done cooking
But, nevertheless, new songs from yousei teikoku are always welcomed
