Mogamigawa Tsukasa is Tsukasa’s (ex-L’eveil, ex-D’espairsRay, THE MICRO HEAD 4N’S) name as an Visual Kei Enka singer. In his orher Visual Kei Bands he plays mostly drums.
He started this side project in 2014. Enka in it’s modern form is sentimental ballade music. It often contains one or more of the themes: a longing for the home town, remembering an ex lover and drinking alcohoI (at a bar). It’s probably not everybodies cup of tea and probably seen as something that is more likely loved by older people in Japan.
Tsukasa mixed in a bit of the vidual kei magic and according to interviews with him, younger fans, who know him from his vk bands and older fans who only knew his enka work both come to his shows.
