有栖川 塁 (Alicegawa Rui) (ex-Mikansei Alice, Misaruka) will hold his special 40th birthday live on 3/3 at Sugamo CCO. Announcements of participating acts will come in intervals throughout this month and next month.

According to the flyer below, Rui will perform with a special band formed for the event, plus 3 special guests and 3 guest bands. A Mikansei Alice/Misaruka revival is expected…

Rui has announced that he will study to become a nurse, yet he does not intend to stop music completely as he is learning piano and plans to release a self-cover album in the future. He goes into detail about what his friends have told him about their nursing experiences, going back to school at 40 years old, rising up from running away from home at 13 to finally performing with Misaruka at Akasaka Blitz before the venue closed, and thus fulfilling his dreams as a musician.
