They’re also playing the wrong era of kuroyume if they’re looking for female fans. By Drug Treatment and definitely Corkscrew, they were far removed from their kurofuku and feminism days.

Went to both shows this week, can confirm the male thing - most fans were definitely men. Honestly i’d say about 60-70% men, average age range around 40.
Even the merch lines were mostly men - i went 3 hours earlier than the start time on the first day and i was only like the 75th person there. Most of the people in front of me were also men, lol.
The shows were fun but i really don’t need to see more corkscrew lives, lol. Call me when feminism’s back on the menu

How to explain the lack of women ? This is unusual for these kinds of band.

Even as far back as the Fake Star tour, they did a Boys only gig (1996 FAKE STAR'S CIRCUIT/BOYS ONLY VHS - Kuroyume | vkgy (ブイケージ)) which I imagine was them trying to get their rock cred back after feminism.
And I for one would look forward to a Nakigara wo / mayoeru yuritachi tour. They did a few shows in 2014 playing those albums but sadly never released them officially.

The setlist they did for these shows were terribly underwhelming, not a single older song. If I had paid money to see them I’d be severely disappointed.

I don’t know how CORKSCREW is their most popular album anyhow; I think their masterpiece should be either FAKE STAR or Drug Treatment.

So far this year they’ve only played songs from CORKSCREW, Drug Treatment, Fake Star, Cruel, and feminism, it’s like Headache and Kuro to Kage never existed lol

Managed to cop one of these but they wanted way too much but I mean I expect them to go back to sleep by the end of 2025 so it’s worth it.

I have one too! Also have one of the linen shirts that they only made 69 of.
I went 3 hours early to stand in line for them in February. It was cold and the linen shirt was expensive but it was worth it.
