0.1gの誤算 (0.1g no Gosan) Oneman Live Limited to Foreigners

0.1gの誤算 (0.1g no Gosan) announced a Oneman concert only for foreigners in Japan

You can check for the details on the tweet above:

I think the only band that did something like this was VERSAILLES like 15 years ago, so I’m really happy to see a band giving us some attention again.
Make sure to attend if you are in Tokyo by this date!

Japanese- Americans are gonna be a wee bit sad if they just go off on looks. :open_mouth:
I hope someone goes there and tells us about it! Like if they speak English any or French or dunno Afrikaan.

It’s literally the opposit… Anyone can enter, and they trust the japanese fans to don’t fake it.

I wonder how many people will show up… not the most popular band.
Will be quite awkward if like 3-4 people show up

Japanese 0.1g no gosan fans will be like:

“…Anyeonghasaiyo”

But really, we all know that the ticketing system gets a bit convoluted and is nearly impossible without a proxy buyer unless you are physically in Japan. So those of us who don’t have a career where we can easily transfer there, we’re kind of boned. We can save up for a trip, pick out dates and whoever plays, we see.

But if the industry wants an actual way to make things easier for foreigners without opening the door for abuse of the ticketing system, there are ticketing platforms that don’t discriminate against non-Japanese phone numbers (Luna Sea’s last ticket lottery), or overseas-exclusive ticket lotteries for x amount of seats (like Plastic Tree offered for yesterday’s show). Those measures would go much further than opening one day a year for anyone claiming to be a foreigner to come in for free.

I don’t trust fans of any nationality or fandom, the really dedicated ones will show up either way lol
It is nice of them to do this though, I hope people show up (I’m certain I’ve seen a video on this forum where a band played a show with only a couple of people in the audience, was it this group or am I remembering wrong?)

yall be overthinking it like it is some kind of squid games
they are making a free show, they try to promote globally and make the ad that’s literally stating you don’t have to prove it in any way. it’s not that deep

I think it’s a really fun idea, I like that they are constantly coming up with stuff. I hope people show up. Even if it’s like 5 people I’m sure they will have a good time, they’re probably not expecting for a huge crowd anyways. They are pretty good at just making things fun or comedic so even if there’s only a few people I don’t think it would be awkward. I’m interested to see how many people will be there!

This is both nice and confuses the heck out of me.
Like I appreciate to get more foreign friendly but this is basically the most unnecessary complicated thing you could have created for us.

I know, right? It’s like, great if your vacation dates line up with this. One month is a little short notice for most people. I can’t imagine someone spending a few thousand on a trip to Japan just because 0.1g no gosan is playing a free first-come first serve show at a 250~ cap venue.

Cmon guys you know it’s just gonna be fodder for their youtube channel
“ONLY FOREIGNERS CONCERT!! DO FOREIGNERS KNOW V-KEI??”
It’s just for content

Their japanese jourens are not that stupid, nobody will fake their nationality for a free entrance lol. For what, not for being banned from the future liveshows but being laughed at in front of the community?

EXACTLY. I’m sure they know at least 95% of their fans, they are a small band and super close to their audience (more than any other band tbh). I wouldn’t be worried as well lol
